Dark Mode for Google Slides That Keeps Your Design
The free GPT Workspace extension darkens the Google Slides editor on your screen. Dark toolbars by default, so your slide designs keep their colours, with Full dark one click away.
Key Features
Everything you need to work smarter with AI in Google Workspace.
Dark toolbars by default
In Slides the default mode darkens the menus, toolbar, filmstrip background and work area and leaves the slide canvas in its real colours, so you design what the audience will see.
Full dark when you want it
Switch to Full dark to invert the canvas too, for example while writing speaker notes late at night. Slide colours invert on screen in this mode, so switch back when colours matter.
Presentation mode is never touched
The slideshow view always runs in the original colours. Templates, theme thumbnails, images and embedded videos keep their colours in the editor too.
Shortcut, settings, no file changes
Turn it on with Alt+Shift+D or from the GPT Workspace settings. The presentation, its exports and what collaborators see never change.
