Your name or business and contact details, the client's name and address, a unique invoice number, the issue and due dates, a description of each item with quantity and price, the subtotal, any tax or VAT with its rate, the total due and your payment terms. The generator has a field for each of these.

You type one sentence such as “12 hours of consulting for Northwind at €95/hour, net 30”. It is sent to a language model that returns structured line items, a currency, a tax rate and a payment term, which fill the form. You always review the numbers before downloading. Nothing else from the invoice is sent.

Yes. Enter the rate in the tax field and the invoice shows the tax line with that percentage and adds it to the total. Tax is applied after any discount. For a tax-free invoice leave the field empty and no tax line is printed.

Yes. The invoice generator is free with no account, no watermark and no limit on how many invoices you create. It is built by the GPT Workspace team as a companion to the Chrome extension.

In your browser only, as a draft so you can come back and finish later. Your details, logo and last invoice number are remembered on this device. GPT Workspace receives nothing except the sentence you optionally give the AI mode.
